hard body fitness

So last night was my 2nd night at Hard Body Fitness. It was so much fun. I did my evaluation with my trainer-Annette-about 4pm. She took all my measurements, calculated body fat %, broke down my protein and carb allowances for dietary consumption and then timed me running a mile. I wasn't so great on the first 1/2 of the mile...and probably walked 1/4 of it. The way back however I was able to run almost the whole thing. I would let myself walk out from one telephone pole to the other and then run 3 of them. It was nice to have something like that to help me set and acheive little goals. My time was 12 minutes. Not bad considering I was 19 the last time I ran for any real period of time. My goal is to shave off 4 minutes--or to be able to run the entire mile without needing to walk any of it.
Last night was not nearly as painful as saturday. I was able to do 98% of what she was having us do. The buddy sit ups were entirely rediculous, but we're confident that I'll be able to knock those out by then end of the boot camp. gotta run. more later

So we're fast approaching Simon's 8 month mark. Time. has. Flown!!! I've lot some weight--noticable only when I put on my dress pants and they refuse to stay on when I climb the stairs. I just haven't really made the progress I wanted. My lovely Lissa is returning to work tomorrow--and yes, this is relavent. She told me that she's already back below pre-pregnancy weight. She is doing a boot camp with her trainer friend-Annette. Well, she invited me to join her and in a moment of inspiration, I agreed. Our first class is Saturday. We'll then go to Tues and Thurs for 10 weeks. Push ups, sit ups, running, lunges, etc. I know I'll go every week too, because A. I'm paying big bucks and B. Lissa will be there! So, this year for Christmas, Im getting my body back...and Chris is gettin a really HOT wifey.
